THE CHALLENGE
Forward Slash was commissioned by Relentless Records to produce a four-part podcast series with UK Drill rappers Headie One and RV. The client’s ambition for The Know Better Podcast was to provide interim content for fans between music releases.
OUR STRATEGY + WORK
With an existing fanbase skewing male and in the 13-26 age range, Forward Slash’s approach was to build emotional connection through showcasing the artists as multifaceted individuals and via their natural chemistry as friends.
We managed and delivered the podcast series end-to-end including strategy, creative development, talent development, audio production, social media creative and talent booking.
We delivered a strategy that included theming each episode around a topic of discussion that would enable the artists to showcase their personalities and discuss experiences in a light-hearted, easily digestible way; one that would resonate with fans.
Our social media creative included original illustrations, a content style guide and a suite of asset templates for sharing video content from the recordings on both Instagram Feed and IG.TV/ Stories.
