THE CHALLENGE
After a musical hiatus, emerging artist and musician Joy Crookes was scheduled to release new music with Insanity Records for the first time.
Forward Slash was brought on board to reposition Joy Crookes’ social media presence, readying her existing and growing online fanbase for music-led content pre and during the EP campaign.
our idea + strategy
Forward Slash’s approach was to develop a content strategy and social media planning which delivered consistent content posting with varying degrees of music messaging. Given Joy Crookes’ existing social media savvy and a tone of voice which resonated highly with her existing fanbase, our focus was on amplifying this in a way that enabled her personality to articulate key messaging.
During this time we devised and delivered weekly social media plans, community management, ideation, content production and social media best practice.
