Nike x Trippin

THE CHALLENGE

Trippin is a community-powered travel platform connecting creative communities and cultures worldwide. In partnership with Nike and to celebrate the launch of the latest Nike Shox, an activation event was conceived; “Heritage of Tomorrow”.

“Heritage of Tomorrow” centered on exploring the past, present and future of London’s heritage and was designed combining technology, visuals and sound design to create a 360 immersive experience. Curated by Trippin and Nike and presented by nine of London’s most progressive collectives and thought leaders re-shaping the cultural landscape of the city.

A free one-day event comprising of workshops, screenings and more, Forward Slash was appointed to deliver a social media marketing campaign to raise awareness of the event, guarantee maximum audience attendance and accurately portray the program of the day, post-event.

Our STRATEGY + Work

Forward Slash’s strategy was to leverage the combined social media reach of Nike, Trippin and the nine collectives involved, through both standardising key event messaging across accounts, and simultaneously tailoring assets and messaging to engage their individual audiences across the campaign.

Beginning with a coordinated launch which saw all accounts concurrently revealing their involvement in the event, the strategy then rolled out to targeting their individual fanbases with bespoke assets to consistently build event awareness and drive ticket sign-ups.

Our work included leading ideation, consultation for both partners, devising a content calendar and social media schedule, briefing content creators on social media assest and event capture, consulting on asset design and social media creative to ensure cohesion across the campaign.
